There are a small number of beautiful Aitutaki resorts at Aitutaki Lagoon. The accommodation rates go from around NZ$375 - NZ$1470 per night per couple, therefore offering holidaymakers a range of options to suit their budget. The top resorts at this time are Pacific Resort Aitutaki on the west coast of Aitutaki, and the Aitutaki Lagoon Resort & Spa situated on its own private island of Akitua just off the eastern tip of Aitutaki and joined by a small causeway.

Other resorts include Tamanu Beach and Samade on the Beach.

A new luxury resort with Aitutaki overwater suite accommodation and 5-star dining is proposed. This will be known as the Captain Bligh Lagoon Resort and Spa.
